Jos B. Warmer the prime architect of the Object Constraint Language (OCL). He is also known as the author of books on UML, OCL and MDA.

Jos B. Warmer works as advisor methods and techniques for software development at De Nederlandsche Bank. Before that he worked at Klasse Objecten and at IBM, in the European Object Technology Practice group. He was co-author of the UML standard of the OMG. He was IBM's representative in the UML standardization team and responsible for all OCL matters. He took part in the effort to specify the 2.0 version of the UML as the leader of a mixed industrial and scientific team that developed the OCL 2.0 standard.
Jos is a regular speaker at seminars and conferences and has published numerous papers on subjects relating to modeling. He is active in the organisation of many conferences and workshops. Together with Anneke Kleppe he is the author of the best-selling Dutch book "Praktisch UML", "The Object Constraint Language - Getting your Models Ready for MDA" and "MDA Explained - Practice and Promise of the Model Driven Architecture".
