James Odell On Agents Technology |
James Odell, a leading expert in OO Analysis and Design, is contributing with a series of articles on Agents Technology.
James Odell is an IT consultant and practitioner specializing in the object-oriented and agent-based approaches. Throughout most of his 30 year career, he has been heavily involved in developing better methods to manage, understand, and express business system requirements. Now, he is one of the first practical implementers of object and agent modeling, and implementation--consulting to major companies worldwide.
James Odell is also the co-chair of OMG's Agent SIG as well as the Analysis and Design Task Force.
His authored books include Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (Prentice-Hall, 1992), Object-Oriented Methods: Pragmatic Considerations (Prentice-Hall, 1996), and Object- Oriented Methods: A Foundation using UML (Prentice-Hall, 1998) (coauthored with James Martin) --and is working on a new book entitled Agents in Industry. |
