Middle of September 2007 we started a survey in order to build a broader
picture of the current situation in the area of modernization projects.
The goal was to underline the needs for new applications and
methodologies as we define them within MOMOCS, but also to get a
feeling of the current needs of the modernization market and its
situation in respect of standards, tools and methodologies.
The survey was designed as an online form. On 13th of September an
email asking thepeople to fill the survey was sent by SIGS-DATACOM to
45.100 contacts of the ICTarea mainly in Europe. The mail was received
by 43.700 contacts while 1.400 could not be delivered (Hardbounces
3,1%). From those received, 10.060 opened the mail and 557 had a look
at the survey (pressed the link to it). Finally 193 of them took the
time to fill the form and participate to the survey.
